Project description
Field investigations may include boreholes, CPT/CPTu, Ménard pressuremeter testing, SPT, dynamic probing, core drilling, and groundwater monitoring. These investigations provide essential information about soil stratigraphy, bearing capacity, compressibility, and subsurface conditions.
The collected samples and measurements are complemented by laboratory testing to characterize the physical and mechanical properties of the soils. The results are interpreted by geotechnical engineers to develop a representative ground model and determine appropriate foundation solutions.
Foundation recommendations can cover shallow footings, raft foundations, and piles, together with bearing-capacity and settlement assessments in accordance with Eurocode 7 and applicable technical methods. The service can also include pile monitoring and assessment of existing foundations.
